Legal Awareness Outreach on Rejecting Drugs, Online Gambling, and Traffic Violations in Tancung Urban Village

The legal awareness outreach program held at the Tancung District Office community hall aimed to enhance public legal understanding regarding issues such as drug abuse, online gambling, and traffic violations. These topics were selected based on observations made by university students during their community service program, which revealed a low level of legal knowledge among the local population. The campaign employed various methods, including lectures, interactive discussions, Q&A sessions, and evaluations to assess participant comprehension. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in both legal knowledge and awareness. Residents now view the law not merely as an instrument for punishment, but as a guiding principle for life that ensures order, protection, and justice. Active participation in discussions indicated that the community is thinking critically and is prepared to drive change within their own environment. Consequently, this legal awareness initiative is considered effective in fostering collective legal consciousness and supporting the creation of a peaceful, safe, and prosperous society.
