Bullying among elementary school children is an issue that needs attention because it can affect feelings of security, comfort in learning and social relationships between students. Children's low understanding in differentiating joking behavior from hurtful actions is one of the challenges in efforts to prevent bullying in the school environment. This community service activity aims to increase students' knowledge, awareness, empathy and ability to recognize and respond appropriately to bullying behavior. The activity was carried out at SDN 249 Minangae, Sajoanging District, Wajo Regency, involving 30 students in grades III, IV, V and VI. The method used is the educational-participatory approach Recognize–Feel–Act (KRB) which was developed according to the characteristics of elementary school students. Activities are carried out through telling stories and illustrations, questions and answers, empathy games, situation studies, role plays, and anti-bullying declarations. Evaluation is carried out through pre-tests and post-tests as well as observations of student participation during activities. The evaluation results showed an increase in the average student understanding from 56.3% in the pre-test to 91.3% in the post-test, or an increase of 35.0 percentage points. Improvements are mainly seen in the ability to recognize social bullying, understand the impact on victims, and determine actions when witnessing bullying. Empathy and role play activities also show high levels of participation. This activity shows that anti-bullying education that is interactive, contextual, and appropriate to the child's developmental stage can be an effective preventive approach to increasing students' understanding and awareness of bullying. Sustainability of the program through familiarization and strengthening of child-friendly school culture is needed so that this understanding can develop into positive behavior in everyday life.
